Celebrity Wedding: Ellen & Portia

No, I did not coordinate this wedding and I don't know the coordinator, Mindy Weiss, personally, but wow what a simple and classic wedding this was. Originally, Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi were planning on a big affair with 150-200 guests but realized that the stress of the planning would just be too much so they had less than 30 of their closest friends and family share in this wonderful occasion.

The flowers which feel almost antique in shades of light pink, lilac, and jade green were created by the world renowned Mark Held of Mark's Garden, who's done the weddings of Avril Lavigne, Trista & Ryan, Heidi & Seal, Adam Sandler, Gwen & Gavin, among others.

The vegan red velvet cake was made by Sweet Lady Jane.

Ellen and Portia's outfits (Ellen in a casual pant suit and Portia in a more traditional dress) were both created by designer, Zac Posen, who's work you can find in stores from Target to Nordstrom's.
