Real Inspiration: English Garden - Details

Now for all of the extra details that gave even more personality to this shoot like this fabulous bouquet by Peony & Plum, which is really where the whole inspiration for the shoot began.
The boutonnieres by Peony & Plum are elegant and simple with roses, herbs, and berries and are displayed in a vintage jewelry box from Archive Vintage Rentals
The stationary was done by the talented Calligraphy Katrina
We re-used the same vintage sideboard from the cake table for this escort card table along with the vintage suitcases from Archive Vintage Rentals
We had Calligraphy Katrina make all the escort cards, each laid on a bed of moss, plus the note pinned to the inside of the suitcase.

We also did a drink station with lemonade and sweet tea.
The bench, fabulous mirror, crocheted runner and pink glassware are from Archive Vintage Rentals
Peony & Plum brought in the ceramic pitchers and the gorgeous flowers of course.
La Tavola Fine Linens provided the turquoise napkin we used as a placemat.
Calligraphy Katrina made all the signage. Stay tuned for Part 4 tomorrow: the Bride & Groom.

Real Inspiration: English Garden - Cake Table

The cake table was one of the funnest things to create at the shoot. We had so much fun bringing all the pieces together to create a WOW statement.
The turquoise blue sideboard is from Archive Vintage Rentals along with the suitcase, glassware, ceramic vessels, and crocheted runners.
The beyond fabulous cake was done by none other than the extremely talented Fantasy Frostings.
I can't get over how adorable the roses are on the cake.
The stellar backdrop was from Picotte Weddings, Inc. and doubled as the photo booth backdrop which you'll see later this week.
The table wouldn't have been complete without the floral stylings of Peony & Plum, which just completed the whole look.
The photos were also captured by Picotte Weddings, Inc. who really helped capture the true essence of this shoot.
The pillows stacked next to the sideboard are from La Tavola Fine Linens. It helped us bring the inside comforts of home to this outdoor shoot.

Real Inspiration: English Garden - Main Table

I had my first taste of inspiration tablescape design over a year ago doing the Twilight Inspired Wedding. I had the opportunity to take another stab at it with what turned out to be a Vintage English Garden Wedding
I collaborated with some of my favorite vendors including Peony & Plum as well as Picotte Weddings Inc.
And this shoot really wouldn't have been complete without all of the fabulous vintage rental items from Archive Vintage Rentals including all of the furniture, table runner, china, and silverware.
Peony & Plum also included some of her own mason jars and ceramic pitchers for a more homespun feel.
The flowers chosen by Peony & Plum were: Garden Roses, Hydrangea, Spray Roses, Peonies, Hanging Amaranthus, Moss, Berries, and Herbs.
We added some additional elements to give each place setting a unique feel by alternating the guys & girls menus in blue and pink (from Calligraphy Katrina), and accenting the napkin treatment with a velvet ribbon in a complimentary color with a vintage brooch, each place setting different.
The cloud shape seen on the table number was echoed on the menus, as well as the invitations.
Stay tuned for additional features including the Cake Table, Details, and our Bride & Groom.

This shoot was taken from an inspiration board Summer created for Snippet & Ink
This shoot was a Mother's Day Picnic. So cute.
This shoot took it's inspiration Interior Design, particularly a living room styled by Eddie Ross. A Room Becomes a Wedding.
This shoot was based on A Midsummer Night's Dream and featured on Utterly Engaged
This last shoot I absolutely adore and it's from Jessica Claire's Workshop (Part 1, Part 2, Part 3 as seen on Style Me Pretty). And my girl Lauryl Lane did the flowers. Brandon Kidd took these photos. And it's just...wow!!!
