Featured: Bridal Guide Magazine

It's official...this is the shoot that keeps on giving. 2 years ago Lina of A Stunning Affair and I teamed up to recreate a Twilight Wedding and tried our best to follow along to the book, and this was way before the movie came out. Well, it's been featured not only on the Bridal Guide website, but we even got a little "sneak peek" of it in the most recent Bridal Guide magazine. YAY!!!
So far it's been featured on Style Me Pretty, Hostess With The Mostess (Part 1) (Part 2), in Woman's World Magazine, on countless Twi-Hard Blogs, and now Bridal Guide Magazine. Gotta love all the shout outs.
Once again here is the list of amazing vendors that helped us bring the shoot to life:
The amazing pics are by Meg Perotti
That killer cake was done by Sweet & Saucy
Floral design was by A Stunning Affair
Calligraphy & paper goods by Calligraphy Katrina
Fabulous rentals were from Classic Party Rentals
Lovely table runner was custom made by Sashes for Love
Overall design & execution was the dynamic duo of A Stunning Affair & Events by Heather Ham

Celebrity Wedding: Tori & Dean Renew Their Vows

Tori & Dean renewed their vows on their reality show, Tori & Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood.
I just started watching Home Sweet Hollywood recently & have completely caught up on Season 3. I just can't get enough of it.
Starting in April their newest TV venture, SToribook weddings will begin to air on Oxygen.
And if you haven't gotten enough of this fabulous couple, they are also opening a fabulous antique store in Sherman Oaks, appropriately named InvenTori which opens on Valentine's Day. The shop is located at 13828 Ventura Blvd N Sherman Oaks.
The fabulous Sweet & Saucy did all of the yummy sweets.

You can watch the episode on YouTube or iTunes to see all the details come together
Many of the elements, such as the yellow motorcycle were antique pieces found and spray painted to give them a chic and modern vibe. What a great DIY option that's budget savvy too.
And Elizabeth Messina, took all of the amazing photos and is an amazing photographer.

Special Treats starting as low as $1.75.
Sweet & Saucy is one of my favorite bake shops for so many reasons.
Click here to see their Valentine's Day Post and all their one of a kind options for your loved one.
They have created some of the most fabulous dessert buffets
And their cakes are truly one of a kind.  Everything they do is a work of art and tastes to die for.
They now even have a shop called Sweet & Saucy Supply where you can purchase all of the fabulous bowls and cake stands you see in their displays. Simply brilliant!!!!

Trend: Cake Backdrops

It's no longer just the ceremony that gets it's own backdrop making it an obvious focal point in a wedding ceremony. Now it's the cake. These are some extraordinary backdrops and cake displays all by the lovely and talented Sweet & Saucy. Other vendors include JL Designs of course. I'm just going to let the photos speak for themselves.

Vendor Pick: Sweet and Saucy

I absolutely love Twitter...because...I find about amazing wedding vendors that can just blow your socks off sometimes.

I had the pleasure of tasting Sweet and Saucy at a halloween networking party I went to a few weeks back. The display was unreal and you can see it a few photos down.

This cake below was a focal point on the dessert buffet that Sweet and Saucy created with the help of Carissa of JL Designs.

My favorite treat was the pumpkin cake lollipops. Now why didn't I think of that??? I've seem lamb lollipops with mint apply chutney, I've seen marshallow covered by chocolate lollipops, but it seems so simple. If you love cupcakes, then you'll love the cake lollipops. It's just the right amount to not make you stuffed plus no need for a fork or plate. Love it!!!

And recently Melody, the genius behind Sweet and Saucy made 500 cookies for the Ellen show as a gift from Oprah for the release of the new edition of O Magazine, where Oprah and Ellen share the cover. The photo below is a similar cookie, but the cool thing is, the center can be a photo of almost anything, it can be your daughter's face, a company logo, or a damask pattern, the sky's the limit.

And you can also have Melody and her team create a one of a kind cookie masterpiece with frosting, marzipan, and fondant. Fabulous!!!

And, how sweet does Melody look? And the best part is you can have Sweet and Saucy treats almost any day of the week by going down to their storefront in Long Beach. Open tuesday through friday from 11 to 7 and open Saturday and Sunday from 11 to 5, and closed on Monday. You can stop by to see them at 6400 Stearns Street, Long Beach, CA 90815.
