Real Wedding: Harvest Rainbow

The bride and groom for this wedding spent most of their relationship long distance. The wedding planning, too, was done mostly with the bride, here in California, while her fiance was on the other side of the country. But, when I met the lucky guy, I could tell instantly that they had a deep and true love for each other.
This particular couple has asked to remain anonymous which is why you won't see any faces of them in these photos but I was lucky enough to be able to share the detail shots with you as I was in color heaven that entire day.

The floral decor was inspired by a past wedding that R Jack Balthazar, one of my faves, created. The luscious bouquets and personal flowers were created for this wedding by the fabulous Jackie Combs.
The rest of the floral decor was created by a friend of the bride. The bride bought a lot of decor items including colored lanterns, wooden trays, peacock feathers, and lots of candles. The colors came together so beautifully including each bridesmaid wearing a complimentary hue to the overall color palette of what could be a harvest rainbow.

The fab wooden tables, all the rental items, and the lighting was done by Town & Country.

The gorgeous, and I mean gorgeous, photography was taken by the amazing husband and wife team at Evoke Photography.
The entire event took place at the Ambassador Mansion and Gardens in Pasadena, which has quite a few different locations for special events.

Vendor Pick: A Stunning Affair

My dear friend Lina Wallace of A Stunning Affair is a friend of mine who is a fantastic coordinator. She's become one of my right hand gals when it comes to needing assistance on the weddings I coordinate. She is not only very organized and knowledgeable, she is also very creative and friendly. She designed and coordinated the grand opening of the new shop for Joleen of A Sweet Design, who creates some amazing cakes and cookies and all things sweet that not only taste amazing but look too good to eat. This event also featured floral design by Jackie Combs and photography by Michael of Forever True Photography. You will also notice a picture you may recognized of the cake jewelry on a beautiful cake Joleen created. I was commissioned by Lina to create the pink flower especially for this event.
