There has been a big trend lately revolving around 3 letters...DIY. Yup, that's Do It Yourself. No longer are crafts resorted just for when you're a little girl making a paper mache box for your mom. Nope, now adays DIY is everywhere, especially weddings. Not only can it save you money, but it can allow you to really let your personalities shine. Just keep in mind that DIY will most likely not save you on time, but, if you've got a bunch of friends & family at your disposal to help assemble your DIY projects, then get their help, and it will fly by in no time. Here are some of my favorite DIY Invitation templates courtesy of Wedding Chicks.

DIY: Invitations
I love that the Wedding Chicks have FREE DIY Templates. And these invitations look so good that guests will think they're from a fabulous stationary store as long as you have the right type of paper.

FREE MAGAZINE!!!
I just got my first issue of Get Married Magazine, for FREE. If you go online you could get a free copy too. The cover was shot by the talented Elizabeth Messina, and floral decor by Mark's Garden.
G-O-R-G-E-O-U-S
There's a ton of eye candy in here to delight any savvy bride and tons of resources of where to find what you see in the wedding design inspirations throughout the pages.
But, my favorite feature has to be the GET TAG. On the bottom right of almost every page in the magazine is a tag that you can scan using your iPhone and it links you to the Get Married website to see where to buy the items you see on that page. I don't know why magazine peeps haven't thought of this sooner. Kudos to Get Married for being the first...first one that I know of.

New Website
I'm so excited to launch my newly revamped website. Thanks to the suggestion of the fabulous Jasmine Star who's husband, JD, also fabulous, works for an amazing user friendly website program called ShowIt. I was super easy to create this site. And they have a free option now where you get 30MB of data upload (photos, etc.) and can publish 5 pages for free. And you can upgrade at any time and can event get a discount using Jasmine's special code (JSTAR).
I hope you like the new site!! And a big thank you to Heather Jagger for these fabulous photos that make my site look fabulous.

Christmas in Pasadena
On November 23 make your way over to One Colorado at 6:00 P.M. when Santa arrives to light the dazzling 35-foot Christmas tree and the 90th Rose Queen® makes one of her first public appearances. The One Colorado Courtyard will also host a heart-warming holiday performance by the Pasadena Tabernacle Children’s chorus, which is made up of 80 children from the Pasadena area. The audience is invited to sing-along to the concert, which will be filled with everyone’s seasonal favorites.
At the Tree-Lighting, everyone is asked to bring an unwrapped toy or book for the Charles Cherniss Tournament of Toys toy drive, which benefits children throughout the San Gabriel Valley. Children and adults who donate an unwrapped toy or book will receive a FREE photo with Santa at One Colorado from 6:30 P.M. to 9:00 P.M., on November 23rd only.
