The Kick Ass Cake Bash

I was asked by my colleague, Beth Helmstetter, to help on the day of this amazing event simply known as the Kick Ass Cake Bash.

The masterminds behind it was the Broke Ass Bride and Fantasy Frostings. They wanted to collaborate and create the Broke Ass Cake Collection that would be fabulous enough for J Lo, but won't break the bank. 

There were live models wearing Alfred Angelo gowns and the decor was done by the fabulous Holly Flora.

The event took place at the Royal T Cafe in Culver City, such a whimsical place.

Laura Hooper did the calligraphy.

Bride and Bloom sponsored as well.

Vendor Pick: Beth Helmstetter Events

This year I have had the privilege to work with Beth Helmstetter, a fantastic wedding coordinator, on a few weddings and events this year. After planning events at a luxurious hotel in Hawaii she started her own company and has done some spectacular events.
A week or so ago I assisted Beth on a wedding at Rancho Sol Del Pacifico. It's a beautiful private estate atop the hills of Malibu with an amazing view of the surrounding mountains and the ocean off in the distance. This is an entirely outdoor location with a new ceremony site, a pool area usually used for cocktail hour and the main area for receptions is at the front of their house around a beautiful fountain.
The photographer for this wedding was Boutwell Studios, which does truly lovely work. Very vintage and chic in style. Very romantic.
