7 years later...

Since 2013, there has been so much happening.

The last wedding I was able to design and plan was for one of my best friends, Kristin (who I met at Saddleback Church, and found out we also attended the same alma mater), and her Australian hubby, Nathan, back in 2014. This April they will celebrate their 6th Wedding Anniversary. The wedding was in Hawaii, so it was a real treat!!!

After closing my Wedding Planning and Event Design Business, I continued working for the non-profit, Devil Pups Youth Program for America. That organization has a special place in my heart. I never went through the camp myself, but have 3 family members who did. I have gotten to hike to the top of 'Ole Smokey and witness the Coin Ceremony when the Pups get their challenge coins. I love being a part of Devil Pups.

AND...I still get to have my hand in Event Planning with several Fundraisers (a luncheon in the spring & golf tournament in the fall), our Annual Appreciation Dinner and our LR Workshops for volunteer training in the spring. I also help at our Devil Pups Store "Pup" Up Shop on the parade deck at MCB Camp Pendleton on Graduation Day.

AND 7 years later, our family has grown. My husband and I have been married for 13 years and have 3 little boys & one in heaven. Our first born, Calvin, is now 7 years old and loves Legos, Batman, & Ryan's World, our next son is Owen and he's 4 and loves Paw Patrol, our next is Knox who is 2 and loves Paw Patrol, and one year ago this Sunday, February 23, we had a miscarriage with our 4th child, Johnny Faithful Ham.

In the last 7 years we have also moved from California to Indiana, outside of Chicago, where my husband was the Youth Pastor at Crossroads Community Church.

Then in 2015 we moved to where we live now in Keystone Heights, Florida. My husband is the Senior Pastor at Keystone Heights Presbyterian Church

Almost 3 years ago now, we lost my mother-in-law, Leslie. It's been rough without her here. She never got to meet Knox or see the first house we bought. I miss her daily but know that she's in no more pain and the cancer is completely gone and I will get to see her again one day in heaven.

New Son, New Town

I have not been keeping up with my blog and apologize to anyone that follows me. Many changes have happened. Our son, Calvin, was born in January. He's almost 9 months old now. My how the time flies. And after living in Southern California my entire life, we have relocated to a small town called Schererville in Indiana, about 45 minutes outside Chicago. My husband got a great job opportunity at a church here called Crossroads Christian Reformed Church. Below are some photos of our growing family!!
