Real Wedding: Phil & Nicole

I had the pleasure of being asked to be the wedding coordinator for two fabulous people, Nicole & Phillip. This wedding was unlike anything else I'd coordinated before and wow was it spectacular. Click here to see the slideshow of many of the shots that fabulous photographer Jasmine Star & her hubby JD captured. They are truly a pleasure to work with and their images are each a piece of art.

Other great people to work with are dvArtistry, videographers extraordinare that created a same-day edited montage for the guests to see.

jl.designs created breathtaking floral decor mostly in fuschia pink with accents of chocolate brown and navy blue.

The bride herself designed her dress and those of her bridesmaids, as she is the creator and owner of Nicolita swimwear.

Another privilege I had was making bouquet jewelry for Nicole in all fuschia swarovski crystals which I will then reuse to make 2 pairs of earrings for her.

I also have to give big props to my girls: Amber, Lina, Jenn, Whitney & Angi for haning in there on a hot day helping me put all the finishing details of everything for this fabulous wedding.

The cake and pastries were from Porto's in Glendale, and the live salsa band, was Orquesta Guayo, and kept the party going all night long. The ceremony was at the San Fernando Mission and the rest of the festivities and most of the photos you see were taken at Hummingbird Nest Ranch in Simi Valley.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this event a success.

THANK YOU

I just have to thank all my girls for going above and beyond at the wedding this past weekend. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU (Amber, Angi, Jenn, Lina & Whitney). You were all fabulous and I couldn't have done this without each of you. So thanks!!!
It was a hot day at Hummingbird Nest Ranch and so many details to account for. And as I was prepared for things to happen, we dealt with a 2 1/2 hour llongdinner (vendors not eating until 10pm, when we were scheduled to each at 7:30), valet taking 30 minutes to get a car checked in and parked, not enough bar tenders (my assitant had to fill in), among other things. But, it was a beautiful day and the bride looked gorgeous and I can't wait to share with you more photos. In the meantime, here's a little taste of what's to come. Photo courtesy of Jasmine Star.

Cake Jewelry

I created this pink flower for the opening of A Sweet Design's new cake studio. The event was coordinated by my good friend Lina from A Stunning Affair. Enjoy!!!
